Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Class D driver\'s license.
• Minimum of three years of driving experience and an excellent driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the afterschool program staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Transporting students from school to the King Center Afterschool program.
• Providing pick-up in designated areas.
• Transporting students on field trips coordinated by the Afterschool Program Manager.
• Adheres to established routes, designated stops and assigned time schedule.
• Obeys all traffic laws and observes safety regulations.
• Be prepared to work as part of a team and report problems to the afterschool program manager.
• Escort children to ensure safety and welfare.
• Conduct safety vehicle inspections before trips.
• Arrive to work on schedule and ready to perform duties.
• Act as a role-model and follow all student rules.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
