Pay Rate: $25-$35+ per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Job Description

We are a welcoming family in Weston looking for a reliable, fun loving, and responsible part-time afternoon sitter for our two children (ages 7 and 10). The ideal candidate is a local graduate student or professional looking for consistent afternoon hours who loves engaging with elementary/ middle school-aged kids.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick-ups: Safely pick up both children from school and drive them to scheduled afternoon activities or home
• Homework Help: Supervise and assist with school homework and projects
• Occasional Activity and Play: Keep kids engaged with outdoor play, sports, board games or arts and crafts
• Light Meal Prep: Prepare simple, healthy afternoon snacks and rarely dinners for the kids

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a safe, reliable vehicle for driving the kids
• Prior experience caring for children in the 6-11 age range
• Strong communication skills and punctuality
• Must be comfortable with pets. We have a large, very friendly German Shepherd.
• Non-smoker
• CPR/First Aid Certification is a strong plus
