Innovation Learning is seeking a Head Coach (Part-Time) for the 2026-2027 school year at Rocky Mountain Academy, Evergreen, CO. The role leads an after‑school program, ensuring a safe, engaging environment and strong ties with families and school partners.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in education or youth development, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. 21–27 hourly, full five-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working in Montessori schools is a significant plus

• Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.

• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel.

• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.

• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.

Monday-Friday: 2:55PM-6:30PM

We are looking for a candidate who is available to work all five days a week for the full shift. We cannot accommodate partial shifts.

Pay:

$21-27/hour, based on experience

Position Overview

The Head Coach serves as the leader of an after-school program site, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. This hands‑on leadership role combines youth development, staff supervision, program operations, and relationship building with families and school partners.The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and passionate about helping children build confidence, resilience, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.

State Requirements:

• 21 years old or older and must meet one of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and 1 year of experience working in ECE
• 30 semester credit hours in approved ECE subject areas + 6 months (910 hrs) experience
• Early Childhood Professional Credential - Level 3 or higher

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
