Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a dedicated Resilience Coach to support students across Augusta-area program sites. This part-time role runs after school hours, with possible extended programs during school breaks and summer sessions.

You will engage students, foster life skills, and provide mentorship in a warm, safe environment, while promoting resilience and positive behavior day by day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Willing to undergo and pass background check and drug test.

Location: School-Based Program Site

We have several programs across the Augusta area. We are looking for candidates who would be comfortable working at any of our program sites in the Augusta area.

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

Monday-Friday: 2:30PM-6PM
We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days for the full duration of the shifts. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time.

Pay: $20-25/hour, based on experience and region

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Support

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.

Program Delivery

• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.

• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.

Program Operations

• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
