Job summary

Right At School in South River, NJ is seeking a Part Time Program Manager to oversee after‑school programming with South River Public Schools. You will coordinate safety, activities, and staff to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate experiences for children during morning and evening blocks.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with children (including those with special needs), and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining open, supportive communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children; knowledge of special needs helpful.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong communication with adults and children.
• 18+ years of age.
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: uphold safety and joy standards, coach staff, and maintain policies.
• Safety Assurance: support safety protocols and document compliance.
• Effective Communication: engage with families, clients, and staff; respond promptly.
• Documentation and Compliance: manage check‑ins/outs and attendance records.
• Daily Routine: implement activities and curriculum with a safe, engaging environment.
