Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is seeking a Head Coach to lead the after-school program at Thornton Central Elementary School in Thornton, NH.

You will create a safe, engaging environment and drive youth development, staff supervision, and strong school-family partnerships. Responsibilities include running daily operations, coordinating enrichment and academic support, managing attendance and safety, coaching site staff, and ensuring program records and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.
• Supervise and support site staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
• Communicate program updates, successes, and student needs.
• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns.
