Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Malden, MA is seeking a part-time Site Director to lead our before- and after-school program. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and documentation to ensure smooth programming.

Qualifications

• Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid preferred or to be obtained.
• At least 3 years in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Experience in team leadership and supervision preferred.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor site team, providing coaching and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.
