The Part TimeAfter School Program Assistant member is responsible for supervising and supporting students during after-school programming in a safe, structured, and engaging environment. Reporting to the After School Care Director, this role ensures students remain safe, active, and productive after the regular school day ends.

Student Supervision & Safety
Supervise students at all times to maintain a secure environment.
Execute accurate attendance tracking and enforce strict student check-in and dismissal protocols.
Follow all safety protocols, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
Monitor behavior and intervene proactively to maintain campus structure and decorum.
Program Implementation
Facilitate structured after-school routines, including dedicated homework time, physical recreation, and enrichment activities.
Assist with activity setup, game facilitation, and smooth operational transitions between spaces.
Culture & Behavior Management
Reinforce school-wide behavior expectations and core values.
Build positive, respectful relationships with students while upholding clear boundaries.
Address behavioral concerns promptly and elevate issues to leadership when necessary.
Family & Community Interaction
Maintain a professional, welcoming presence for parents and guardians during student pickup.
Communicate basic student updates clearly and professionally.
Strictly enforce authorized pick-up procedures to guarantee student safety.
Zero major safety incidents during after-school program hours.
Consistent 100% accuracy in daily attendance and dismissal procedures.
Positive parent and family feedback regarding after-school experiences.
Seamless adherence to program schedules and operational expectations.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Prior experience supervising or managing groups of children (school, daycare, camp, or youth sports setting) strongly preferred.
