Job summary

St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston’s West University area is seeking an After School Staff member for our aftercare, clubs, and camp programming. This part-time position runs weekdays from 2:30 pm to 6 pm, with potential additional hours during holidays.

You will supervise 10-20 students with a co-teacher, engage children with activities, monitor safety, and support homework and reading time while upholding school rules and a positive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience with children.
• At least one year of work, volunteer, or organization participation experience.
• Education background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10-20 students with a co-teacher.
• Interact with students, lead games, and facilitate activities.
• Check in/out students and monitor safety and basic medical information.
• Support homework and reading time and ensure a respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset spaces after activities.
