Job summary

Think Together in Fresno, CA is seeking a Substitute Enrichment Instructor to deliver high quality enrichment classes (STEM and VAPA) to K-12 students, 15-20 per class, in a part-time role reporting to the Program Supervisor. You will foster a safe, fun environment and model positive behavior.

You will assist with set-up, sign-in/out, and coordination with staff, teachers, parents, and community members while following provided curriculum.

Qualifications

Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
Desire to support growth and safety for students in a classroom enrichment program.
Pass Live Scan background check and TB test as required.

Responsibilities

Provide enrichment using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging for kids.
Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when appropriate.
Engage children by following lesson plans and serving as a positive role model.
Ensure student safety by assisting in setup and clean-up and maintaining the site.
Maintain paperwork including sign-in/sign-out sheets for each class session.
Communicate with staff, teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.
