Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in New York to support before- and after-school programs. You will help deliver engaging activities, monitor safety, and foster a love of learning in a structured, caring environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday with a split shift (6:30 AM–8:05 AM and 2:20 PM–6:30 PM), up to 28.75 hours weekly. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $18 to $21, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR in-person; TB test clearance; state requirements for NY.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings.
• Prepare and lead educational activities and curriculum aligned to objectives.
• Organize and lead structured daily fitness and enrichment activities.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
