Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Nelson Elementary School in Nelson, NH for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is part-time and non-exempt, with a pay rate of $14.00 - $18.00 per hour and follows the school calendar.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
