Job summary

Top Grade Learning and Tutor Doctor in Pearland is seeking a reliable After School Bus Driver to transport students home safely on an established Pearland, TX route. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain order on the bus, and communicate with parents and staff about route updates.

The ideal candidate will possess a Texas DL, a clean driving record, pass a background check and drug screen, and have knowledge of Pearland roads. Afternoon hours Monday through Friday are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver's License (DL)
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong knowledge of Pearland, TX roadways and surrounding areas
• Patient, responsible, and dependable with a genuine care for student safety
• Ability to work afternoon hours consistently, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students from school to the learning center on an established after school route
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Maintain order and a positive environment on the bus for all student passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, school zone regulations, and company safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and supervisors regarding route updates or incidents
• Monitor student behavior and ensure all riders are accounted for at each stop
• Keep accurate records of mileage, routes, and any incidents or irregularities
