Job summary

Orleans Southwest Afterschool and Summer Programs in Greensboro, Vermont, is seeking a Part-time Afterschool Behavioral Assistant to support WonderKids programming for students in grades K–8 across Craftsbury, Hardwick, and Wolcott sites. You will work with Administrative and Enrichment Coordinators to provide behavioral support, model positive conduct, and help students engage in enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Behavior Support: Provide behavioral support through therapeutic communication and strength-based strategies to ensure safety and well-being of students.
• Co-Regulation: Maintain awareness of one’s affect, posture, body language, and tone of language.
• Program Support: Assist children’s engagement with the program and understanding activities.
• Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with coordinators to track student progress.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with staff to implement behavior and safety plans as directed by Coordinators.
