Job summary

AMR Barrow in Georgia is seeking an AEMT for a part-time role to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

You will perform patient assessments, determine needed care, document information, and operate EMS equipment in line with company policies. A valid EMT license and state driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State EMT license required.
• State driver’s license required.
• Current BLS and NREMT certifications.
• Clean driving record per policy.
• Pass physical agility test.
• Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests as part of EMS operations.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and community relations.
