Job summary

Gold Cross EMS Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a Part-time AEMT to operate an emergency vehicle and administer advanced pre-hospital care under physician direction, in accordance with Gold Cross EMS protocols and state EMS policies.

You must hold a valid State EMS license, a current driver’s license, and CPR/BLS certification. Experience as an EMT is preferred; you will perform patient stabilization, equipment checks, and coordinate with the Field Supervisor during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State EMS License.
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Georgia or SC Advanced EMT certification with National Registry where appropriate.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• One year EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate emergency vehicle and provide advanced pre-hospital care.
• Stabilize patients per protocol under physician direction.
• Maintain equipment, drugs, IV fluids, and inventory.
• Know GCEMS territory and hospital locations; assist with scene assessment.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisor and other responders on scene.
