Job summary

AMR BARROW is hiring an EMT for a part-time role to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients in the Barrow area. The EMT will assess patients, determine required care, and document information while upholding confidentiality and patient rights.

The ideal candidate will hold a State EMT License, Driver's License, BLS and NREMT certifications, with a background in healthcare.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
State EMT License.
State Driver's License.
BLS and NREMT certifications.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some work experience, preferably healthcare.
Preferred related experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide patient assessment and deliver emergency medical care using EMT skills and equipment.
Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use EMT skills to provide care including communications and medical equipment.
Operate an ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
