Job summary

Instructors deliver student-centered instruction, adapt for diverse learners, and ensure compliance with grant requirements while supporting pathways to postsecondary education and workforce training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Desirable: Texas Educator’s Certificate or Teaching Certificate; teaching experience preferred but not required; bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for GED, ESL, IET, and college readiness/TSI prep.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learners and language levels; integrate technology.
• Collaborate with instructional teams and workforce partners.
• Assist students in transitioning to postsecondary ed or workforce training.
• Maintain attendance and ensure grant compliance and timely documentation.
• Record time and certify activities align with grant requirements.
