Qualifikationen

• Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
• Licensure in the State of Iowa as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• 1 Year pain management experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and empathy skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in group and one-on-one settings.
• Strong computer skills and overall technical literacy.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
• Ability to advocate for patients effectively.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Healthcare initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and treat patients in collaboration with physicians.
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Order lab tests and imaging as needed; prescribe medications.
• Provide patient education and counseling; form diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Support clinic operations with CAC, Clinic Services Director, and Chief of Clinic Services.
• Contribute to performance improvement and Lean Healthcare initiatives.
