Zusammenfassung

Family First Adolescent Services is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide part-time, in-person medical services to adolescent clients in a residential behavioral health setting.

The provider will work with the Director of Nursing, nursing staff, psychiatric providers, and other team members to address routine medical needs, admissions H&Ps, and continuity of care.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed APRN or PA in Florida with active license and prescribing authority
• Experience conducting admissions history and physical exams (H&Ps) and evaluating routine medical concerns
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to collaborate with nursing and psychiatric teams
• Commitment to adolescent health, confidentiality, and quality care

Aufgaben

• Conduct admission H&Ps and comprehensive medical assessments.
• Evaluate and treat routine non-emergency medical concerns.
• Order and review laboratory tests; coordinate referrals as needed.
• Monitor chronic conditions and treatment plans.
• Assess medication effectiveness and potential adverse effects.
• Develop treatment recommendations and follow-up plans.
• Coordinate care with nursing and psychiatric providers.
• Provide remote weekend on-call consultations within designated window.
