Job summary

The Ranch in Wrightsville, PA is seeking an Admissions Specialist to consult with potential clients, assess needs, verify benefits, and guide admissions decisions within Promises Behavioral Health. The role supports high-volume inquiries, outbound and outbound referral activities, and a quota-driven monthly performance target.

The position is part-time, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm, and requires a proactive, client-focused, clinical-style approach in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Consult with potential clients to assess needs and recommend programs based on clinical presentation and needs.
• Assist with verification of benefits and discuss insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs with clients or financial party.
• Maintain professional, clinical-style communication with potential clients and manage high-volume inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultative support for admission inquiries, including pre-admissions assessment and answering pre-admissions/general intake questions from potential clients or their referral sources.
• Initiates verification of benefits and discusses insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs with potential clients or the Financially Responsible Party.
• Assesses acuity and needs of potential patients and makes treatment recommendations based on clinical presentation and appropriate clinical fit for programs.
• Facilitates telephone presentations to prospective clients, communicating the Promises Behavioral Health advantage.
• Identifies qualified prospective clients and develops loyal customer relationships.
• Generates and follows up on self-developed leads through research and inbound/outbound calling.
• Works with leadership approval on external business development leads in correlation with the Referral Rollover Process.
• Provides treatment recommendations within the Promises network of treatment centers.
• Provides outbound referrals to established referral sources or other providers.
• Assists with client retention by supporting current clients as requested.
• Meets an admissions quota per month based on quarterly goals with leadership.
• Tracks and documents disposition of potential clients from initial call to admission.
• Researches and expands knowledge of addiction and treatment programs to provide relevant information to prospective clients.
• Maintains a professional, clinical-style approach when working with potential clients.
• Works in a high pace, high stress, and/or high-volume environment.
• Follows all Admissions Center policies and procedures.
• Designs and executes strategies for meeting or exceeding performance goals.
• Shares techniques for proactive outbound calls, lead generation, qualifying, and overcoming objections.
• Supports team admissions and achievement of census goals.
