Job summary

Queens Botanical Garden is seeking an Admission Cashier for a part-time seasonal role in Flushing, NY. You will operate the ticketing booth, sell admission and parking, staff the reception desk, and assist with concessions and member admissions.

The position requires delivering excellent customer service, answering questions, providing wayfinding, and promoting upcoming programs and events. Evening and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; some college preferred.
• Customer Service, Administrative and Clerical skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems; Counterpoint SQL; MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ticketing booth and sell admission and parking.
• Staff the reception desk and greet guests.
• Provide information about Garden programs and events; guide visitors.
• Handle member and group admissions and concessions sales.
• Assist with store/reception desk tasks and merchandise stocking.
