Columbus Technical College is seeking a part-time Admissions Counselor/Recruiter to coordinate and implement recruitment and admissions activities for military-connected students at Fort Benning, GA. The role involves data entry, advisement on career paths, and collaboration with Academic departments to design schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related work experience.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-to-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the enrollment services for military connected students.
• Plans and implements student recruitment activities including campus tours and mailings.
• Maintains recruitment mailing lists and social media sites; represents the college at recruitment events.
• Assists prospective students with admissions and readmissions processes; advises on career paths.
• Serves as primary contact for Military Tuition Assistance and Credential Assistance programs.
• Assists in evaluating and data entry of transcripts from high school, college, and military.
• Provides information on application procedures and admissions requirements.
• Serves as Veterans Education Benefits Certifying Official.
• Holds primary office hours at the Education Center on Fort Moore.
• Collaborates with Academics to develop schedules and adds programs as needed.
• Assists with special events and other duties as assigned.
