Position Summary
The Administrative Coordinator will coordinate all internal and external communications, coordinate Lieberman Center events and conferences, and serve as a liaison between the Lieberman Center and YU internal departments.

The Administrative Coordinator will coordinate all internal and external communications, coordinate Lieberman Center events and conferences, and serve as a liaison between the Lieberman Center and YU internal departments.
This is a part-time position of about 15 hours per week. The work will be mostly remote, but the individual will occasionally have to attend on-campus events about 2 or 3 times per month.
Position Responsibilities
- Draft and coordinate all internal and external Lieberman Center communications, including written coverage of public and student events, student correspondence, the Lieberman Center website, publicity materials (monthly newsletter updates, event flyers and invitations, director’s report), and other forms of content
- Develop a social media strategy and oversee Lieberman Center social media accounts across all platforms
- Logistical coordination of public, donor, and student events such as writing workshops, conferences, and academic retreats, including but not limited to audio-visual, venue, catering, speakers, parking, marketing, flyer design, flights, honoraria, and reimbursements
- Serve as liaison between Lieberman Center and YU internal departments, including but not limited to Procurement, HR, Events, Marketing and Communications, Facilities, Security, Registrar, Student Life, and Dining Services
- Attend and staff Lieberman Center events, including a limited number of nights and weekend events
- Other administrative tasks as necessary
Experience & Education Background
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Candidates should possess at least 1-2 years of administrative experience. If no direct administrative experience, then some transferable skills would be expected
- Experience with social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn) is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of the Jewish community and its trends
- Knowledge of the American and Israeli political environment and its trends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies, including students, faculty, donors, and administrators
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, strong analytic and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize work, and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines
Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour
