Job summary

City of Napa is seeking a part-time Recreation Associate to help run adaptive recreation activities for individuals with disabilities. You will lead activities, cheer participants on, and ensure everyone can participate, bringing warmth and energy to every event.

The role supports a team-driven program with a focus on inclusion, safety, and community engagement, requiring flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a leader and instructs others in recreational activities at Parks and Recreation centers.
• Leads various recreational activities and participates enthusiastically with participants and staff.
• Provides guidance to participants in conducting recreation activities.
• Assists professional staff in planning, organizing, and conducting recreation activities and events.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
