Job summary

Legal PM Partners (LPMP) is seeking a Part-Time Attorney admitted to practice in Puerto Rico to support ADA compliance and legal project initiatives.

The ideal candidate has three years of experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external counsel while maintaining client confidentiality. This role focuses on regulatory compliance and project support within federally funded contexts as needed.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Puerto Rico state courts
• Admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico
• Strong ADA knowledge and regulatory interpretation
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• Availability for a part-time schedule
• Compliance with professional conduct rules and independence requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide ADA compliance guidance on accessibility and nondiscrimination
• Review policies, procedures, and documents to identify compliance gaps and corrective actions
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, reports, and recommendations on applicable requirements
• Support development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance action plans
• Review federally funded program requirements and related documentation and audits
• Coordinate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders on compliance initiatives
• Assist with project planning, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up actions
• Maintain client confidentiality and address conflicts of interest while exercising independent professional judgment
