This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Maintain safety awareness as this is a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience are preferred.
