Job summary

Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist Generalist to join our acute care team. You will provide clinical pharmacy services across acute care settings, collaborating with physicians and care teams to optimize individualized treatment plans and monitor therapy for safety and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• FPGEC Certification required.
• PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across acute care settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to develop and optimize treatment plans.
• Review and verify medication orders for safety, accuracy and appropriateness.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and adjust recommendations based on outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards and best practices.
• Educate patients, families and healthcare teams on medication use.
• Document interventions and clinical activities in system records.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
