Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will follow established nursing models, advocate for patients, and support a positive clinical environment.

You will assess patients at admission and throughout shifts, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about treatment plans.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and current state nursing license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse; Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and document care in the patient’s medical record; respond to adverse events.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
