Qualifications

• RN license required in the applicable state.
• Associate or Bachelors degree, or RN diploma.
• ACLS certification due within 6 months; BLS within 30 days.
• Current acute care experience in medical-surgical or stepdown units.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care equipment and procedures.
