Job summary

The Waters of Batesville is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in implementing a planned program for residents. The role includes transporting residents, keeping records, and performing clerical duties per policies and regulations.

CNA preferred but not required; candidate should be energetic, personable, and capable of motivating residents to participate in activities while maintaining safety and a positive facility image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license with F-Endorsement is required.
• Ability to drive the facility van is required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Present a positive image of the facility.
• Meet health assessment requirements (Mantoux skin tests).

Responsibilities

• Aide in activities for residents and transport as needed.
• Prepare equipment and ensure activity safety.
• Lead group activities such as exercise or arts/crafts.
• Maintain proper records of equipment and use.
• Assist in planning programs for socialization and exercise.
