Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in activities assistance or LTC/memory care preferred.
• Certification as Activities Professional preferred per regulators.
• Ability to work with diverse residents and staff.
• Valid NC Driver’s License; CDL preferred or obtainable.
• English reading/writing proficiency.
• Able to manage under pressure and use supplies efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and lead individual and group activities.
• Encourage social interaction through group events.
• Assist with religious programs and leisure activities.
• Help with monthly newsletter and activities calendar.
• Transport residents to activity programs.
• Assist with admissions assessments, care plans, and notes.
• Coordinate volunteer programs and events.
• Maintain activity supplies.
