Job summary

Madison Health is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs and daily activities, 16-24 hours per week, every other weekend.

You will maintain documentation, coordinate activities, communicate with residents, staff, families, and volunteers, and ensure compliance with regulations and facility procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain accurate activity records.
• Strong communication with residents, staff, and families.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental documentation reflecting services provided and resident progress towards goals, including progress notes and participation records.
• Communicate facility programs with residents, staff, family, and volunteers.
• Coordinate weekend and evening activities as needed per resident interest.
• Comply with State and Federal regulations and facility procedures regarding Activity Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
