Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation! is seeking an part-time Activities Assistant to develop and implement engaging activity programs for residents.

You will assist the Activities Director in evaluating residents and maintaining activity calendars, newsletters, and progress notes, while ensuring safety and confidentiality. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, comfort with Word/Excel, and a patient, cheerful attitude.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of personal computers, e-mail, Word and Excel.
• Understanding of best Activities practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement activity programs tailored to residents.
• Assist in evaluating residents with respect to backgrounds and interests.
• Document activity plans and progress notes.
• Plan and set up activities with the Activities Director.
• Publish monthly activity calendars and facility newsletters.
• Maintain safety and infection control compliance.
