Job summary

NACBA seeks an Accounting Clerk II/III (Accounts Receivable) in Denver to handle AR tasks, invoice customers, post payments, and support month-end processes with high attention to detail. The part-time role requires confidentiality and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The position offers two hourly rates ($22.75 and $26.25) based on experience, with typical hours 24–32 per week, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Benefits include fitness center access, flexible scheduling, and a 401(k) option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and experience in accounts receivable.
• Registration POS experience helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day AR transactions and post payments (cash, checks, credit cards).
• Invoice customers and manage outstanding balances, contacting customers as needed.
• Perform monthly reviews of customer balances and aged receivables.
• Reconcile daily AR reports and resolve discrepancies with the appropriate supervisor.
