Palms Associates is a southeast leader in real estate development and management. We seek a motivated and detailed Accounting & Tax Associate to work with our accounting team during the 2026–2027 academic year.

This role is ideal for a high-performing junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, real estate, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in corporate accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, and real estate.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, real estate, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Curiosity and aptitude for using software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong professional and academic references.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Support tax compliance and general ledger reconciliations.
• Contribute to budgeting, audit, and analytical projects.
• Collaborate on implementation of new software.
