Fresh Start Home Services, LLC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced accountant to own the books for multiple entities. You will lead a virtual team, ensure monthly closes on time, and deliver clear leadership-ready reports.

The role is part-time with a flexible schedule, combining remote work and 1–2 days in the Houston office. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting, strong asset depreciation knowledge, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel; CPA progress is a plus.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience with monthly close ownership.
• Experience with multi-entity books, intercompany activity and consolidated reporting.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets, depreciation schedules and notes/payables.
• Ability to review others' work and ensure accuracy before reporting.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online skills and strong Excel proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly close across all entities and meet deadlines.
• Lead the virtual accounting team and review all outputs before finalization.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan accounts monthly for all books.
• Maintain books for properties and assets, including depreciation.
• Keep notes and loans AS-IS, ensure timely interest accruals and balances.
• Coordinate with the outside CPA and keep records tax-ready year-round.
• Deliver weekly cash position and monthly/quarterly financial packages.
• Develop ad hoc reports for leadership and document processes.
