The Role

Accounting Clerks play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the venue. Accounting Clerks review invoices and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy. Accounting Clerks ensure that financial records are up-to-date and comply with company with company policies and regulatory standards. Accounting Clerks possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes.

Essential Functions

• Accounts Receivable: create invoices, send them to customers and occasionally receive and post payments
• Accounts Payable: invoice entry; vendor file maintenance
• Payroll: employee file maintenance, process employee time records, submit payroll files accurately and on time.
• Data Entry: assist other departments as needed
• Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial records safely
• Ensuring that all accounting and operational accounting functions are being performed in the most effective and efficient fashion, while conforming to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company.
• Assisting in the processes which ensure accurate, timely financial statements for the location.
• Monitor receivables while proactively reducing outstanding collectibles.
• Working with various departments to meet reporting needs.
• Providing audit support for all financial and operational activities.
• Monitor the administration of appropriate controls
• Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
• Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
• Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
• Available to work part-time days (between 20-29 hours weekly)
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Education, preferred qualifications, and/or experience Associate’s degree in accounting or finance, preferred
• One to three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll. (Food service environment preferred).

• Experience in Microsoft Professional Office.
• Organized work behavior ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed.

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.

• Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights, and extreme heat/cold
