Responsibilities

• Provides access to course content through notes, boards, overheads, videos, and discussions in student-preferred format.
• Edits and formats class notes for accessibility per DRC policy.
• Reads books, handouts, board work, and exams to students requiring audio content access.
• Types or writes student dictation and performs text typing to overcome barriers.
• Operates peripheral computer equipment as required by accommodations.
• Supports students with disabilities in accessing various college-wide resources as directed by DRC.
• Assists with on-campus and virtual testing accommodations.
• Supports other accessibility-related projects across the college.
