Job summary

You will provide instructional support to students and faculty related to accessibility and help ensure equitable access to course materials. This full-time role requires adherence to safety, policies, and college standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides access to course content in notes, boards, overheads, videos and discussions as designated by the student.
• Edits and formats class notes to meet student processing needs and delivers notes per policy.
• Provides visual support by reading books, handouts, board work, and exams for students needing accessible content.
• Types or writes student dictation and performs text entry to overcome barriers.
• Operates periphery equipment to address specific barriers.
• Supports students with disabilities in accessing college services as directed by the DRC.
• Assists with testing for students on campus and virtually.
• Supports accessibility-related projects college-wide.
