Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Enhanced Security Officer at our Remington, IN location. You will provide security and customer service at a logistics site, with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, support truck entry and exit processes, and report irregularities involving gates, docks, trailers, or restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel and following established response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
