Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Part-Time Access Control Officer to support the Access Control Support Services Contract for the Cyber Protection Brigade and the 11th Cyber Warfare Battalion at Ft. Gordon, GA. This is a part-time supervisory position with coverage requirements across weekdays, weekends, and federal holiday weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years direct supervision or management experience.
• Minimum two years of ACO or equivalent security experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Experience with DISS/NBIS, ICIDS alarms and access control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Control access of personnel, equipment and media entering and leaving the controlled spaces.
• Verify badge requirements and security access for visitors using DISS/NBIS.
• Operate ICIDS alarms and CCTV access control features per SOPs.
• Escort and monitor authorized personnel; deny entry of prohibited items.
• Document security activities and report to the cognizant security officer.
• Support RAMS and random inspections per SOPs.
• Open and secure controlled spaces using CDX-series locks; maintain logs.
