Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Part-Time Access Control Officer to support the Cyber Protection Brigade and the 11th Cyber Warfare Battalion at Ft. Gordon, GA.

This role is a supervisory position with flexible shifts and weekend coverage. Responsibilities include controlling access, confirming badge requirements, performing security inspections, operating ICIDS/CCTV and DISS/NBIS systems, and coordinating with security personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Two years of experience as an Access Control Officer or equivalent security role.
• Two years of direct supervision or management experience.
• Experience or training with security systems (DISS/NBIS, ICIDS, CCTV).

Responsibilities

• Control access of personnel, equipment and media entering/leaving controlled spaces.
• Verify badges and visitor security using DISS/NBIS.
• Inspect for prohibited items and ensure compliant entry procedures.
• Escort uncleared personnel per SOPs and report security events.
• Open/secure spaces using CDX locks and alarms; log activity as required.
• Support RAMS and conduct periodic perimeter checks per SOPs.
