Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in New Castle, DE to manage access points, verify credentials, monitor alarms, and deliver excellent customer service. The role offers a flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts at a technology and telecommunications site.

Typical duties include badge issuance, visitor management, and responding calmly to incidents. A guard card and background check are required where applicable; drug screening may be part of employment.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location with access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue/collect visitor badges, and maintain logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents following established procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, restricted areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding security concerns.
