Job summary

Allied Universal in West Finley, PA is seeking a part-time Security Guard specialized in entry control. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and provide customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue passes, and maintain accurate entry/exit records.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with procedures and deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns; notify relevant personnel and complete reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, access points, parking and perimeter areas, documenting observations.
