Allied Universal is recruiting for Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control at Terre Haute, IN. This role provides fixed anchor shifts with flexibility to pick up extra shifts across sites. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a day-time schedule from Tuesday 07:30 PM to 04:00 AM.

The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response at a retail location, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and potential growth toward full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior perimeter, entrances, loading areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, observations, and shift handoffs.
