Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Champaign, IL. This flexible, dependable role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform. The pay rate is $18.10 per hour. The position supports a 12:00 AM–08:00 AM night shift and includes anchor shifts and shift pick-ups.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access points and verify credentials.
• Direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and adjacent areas to deter unauthorized activity.
