Job summary

Allied Universal in Doral, FL is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Systems Attendant to join our team. You will help safeguard clients across cruise ops and other sites, monitor access control, respond to incidents, and assist guests, crew, and visitors with professionalism while delivering excellent customer service.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule (DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM) and access to our Shift platform to claim additional

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
