Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional to support a food and beverage production site in a customers-focused environment. You will perform access-control duties, verify credentials, and assist employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers with safety procedures.

The role emphasizes calm incident response, regular patrols, and clear communication to ensure secure operations while maintaining a welcoming workplace culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm,1 problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support orderly movement of people and deliveries by directing visitors and vendors to check-in locations.
