Allied Universal in Northampton, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Door Monitoring to protect clients across industries, including logistics and distribution. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and perform routine patrols while delivering professional customer service.

The role offers a part-time schedule with early morning hours, a focus on security procedures, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
Screen incoming and outgoing vehicle, driver, and visitor traffic according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
